After several renovations and conversions, the Salesianum building complex is to be completely renovated and restored to its original state. The premises will accommodate residential uses and serve as a home for several families. The St. Karl Chapel and some of the rooms in the central building will also be made accessible to the public in accordance with the concept presented. Alberich Zwyssig, a Cistercian monk, composer and bandmaster, wrote the Swiss psalm, today's national anthem of Switzerland, during his time in the St. Karlshof in the St. Karl Chapel in 1841.
